On Saturday (May 11), Jasmine and her family checked into a hotel to celebrate Mother’s Day. The following day, Enzo was resting on the hotel bed with his parents. They all fell asleep, but upon waking, they found Enzo missing.
Jasmine immediately performed CPR, but Enzo was unresponsive. Due to poor phone reception, they couldn’t call for an ambulance. Enzo’s father, Kvin Wang, rushed to find help but was unsuccessful. They then carried Enzo to the lobby, where hotel staff called an ambulance.
At the hospital, doctors worked tirelessly for 30 minutes, and Enzo briefly regained his heartbeat but remained unconscious. For six agonizing days, Enzo fought for his life in the hospital while his parents and their community hoped for a miracle.
Tragically, on May 17, Enzo’s heart stopped beating.
